Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioners have filed this writ petition challenging the impugned action of appointment of a nominated Board with defaulted members as alleged by the petitioners.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the respective parties, I am of the view that petitioners should approached the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Co-operative Directorate, West Bengal/respondent No.2, for redressal of their grievance by way of making an appropriate representation and accordingly liberty is granted to the petitioners to make appropriate representation before the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Co-operative Directorate, West Bengal/respondent No.2 against the grievance raised in this writ petition, within a period of two weeks from

date and if such representation is made before the respondent No.2, he will consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and other interested parties or their authorised representative, within a period of four weeks from the date of making such representation.

Petitioners may file a copy of this writ petition before the respondent No.2, who will treat the same as a representation.

With this observation and direction this writ petition being WPA 7161 of 2023 is disposed of. ( Md. Nizamuddin, J. )
