Mr. Sourat Nandi ....for the petitioner Mr. Suman De Mr. Aniket Mitra ....for the State Let copies of the revisional application and the application for condonation of delay be served upon Mr. Suman De and Mr. Aniket Mitra, learned counsels, who ordinarily appear on behalf of the State. They are requested to represent the State in this case. Their engagement may be regularized in due course.

Upon hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the explanation provided in the application for condonation of delay, the delay is condoned.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an accused in this case. After being granted bail by the learned trial Court he has been regularly attending the Court. On 14th November, 2024 due to unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner failed to attend the Court and warrant of arrest was issued. The same has remained pending.

Heard the learned counsel for the State.

In view of the fact that the petitioner wants to join the proceeding and in the interest of justice, let the warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner remain stayed for a period of six weeks from this date.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to surrender before the learned trial Court within such time and pray for bail. If the petitioner surrenders within such time and prays for bail, his application shall be considered in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the revisional application and the connected application are disposed of.
