Petitioner preferred an application before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 14th court, Calcutta in the year 2022 for reconstruction particularly with regard to the documents which were marked as exhibits. Learned Advocate submits that the same has been misplaced, however the said application which was filed till date has not been considered by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 14th court, Calcutta in connection with CS/40032 of 2015 which is a proceedings under Sections 138/141 of the N. I. Act. The next date has been fixed on 24th April, 2024. The learned Magistrate is directed to depute an officer on an employee of his court to trace out the documents which have been the thread of contention in the application filed in the year 2022 and is pending for almost two years.

If the documents are traced and there is no interim order in respect of the proceedings, the learned Magistrate would proceed in accordance with law by fixing one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1116 of 2024 is disposed of.
