It is submitted by the petitioner that the provident fund dues have been paid to him by the authority. At the same time, the petitioner submits that the forms for provident fund dues of his father and other benefits available under the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 were submitted by the petitioner before the authority in 2013 and was under consideration of the respondent authorities pursuant to an order of a coordinate Bench of this Court passed on 12.04.2021 in WPA No. 7971 of 2021.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that no interest on the provident fund dues has been paid by the authority and the petitioner is also deprived of the employees' deposit link insurance due to him.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents that the respondents are ready

and willing to clear all legitimate dues of the petitioner in accordance with the existing rules.

In view of the above and upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the respondent authorities, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to take necessary steps for payment of all legitimate dues of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of this case and the authority shall be at liberty to deal with the contention of the petitioner as made out before it at the time hearing.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA No. 7971 of 2021 is disposed of. There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
