The petitioner was a Non-Teaching staff (Clerk) of Narasinha Dutt College, a college under the University of Calcutta; on attaining the age of superannuation, he has retired from the said service on December 31, 2024.

The petitioner complaining non-disbursement of his retiral benefit has filed the instant writ petition. However, during the pendency of the matter the Pension Payment Order has been issued.

In view of such development, no further order need be passed in the matter.

The authorities are directed to expedite the disbursement of the pension and other retiral benefits of the petitioner.

W.P.A. 7045 of 2025 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
