Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan Ms. Nandini Chatterjee ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. Apart from the statement of a co-accused, there is hardly anything against the present petitioner. The prime allegation is that of theft.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits as follows. Section 112 (1) of the BNSS has been added to the array of charges. Investigation is going on. The CDR analysis shows that the petitioner was near the place of occurrence at the relevant points. Petitioner has criminal antecedent. In view of the incriminating materials available in the case diary and the fact that investigation is going on, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
