According to Mr. Sen, instructions have been received from the authorities that very soon a fresh tender notice shall be issued and applications shall be invited from the eligible bidders for settlement of Karikapukur Ferry Ghat. The said ferry ghat had been settled in favour of the respondent no.9. The decision for settlement of ferry ghat in favour of the respondent no.9 had been cancelled, in view of the inability of the said respondent to pay the amount as per the terms and conditions of the agreement. It is also specifically contended that the respondent no.9 is not in a possesion of the ferry ghat.

Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with no orders, but allowing all the parties to participate in the tender process that is going to be initiated by the Murshidabad Zilla Parishad for settlement of Karikapukur Ferry Ghat. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of server copy of this order.
