In this writ petition selection of respondent no.8 as Teacher-in-Charge of Suria Moulana Azad High School, North 24 Parganas is questioned.

However, it is submitted by the learned advocates representing the parties that subsequently in the school, post of Assistant Headmaster was filled up by appointing another candidate.

It is trite law that after engagement of Assistant Headmaster in a school Teacher-in-Charge cannot function. Hence, this writ petition has become infructuous.

It needs to be recorded herein that selection for the post of Assistant Headmaster in the aforesaid school has been questioned by filing another writ petition

being WPA 7643 of 2024 and the said writ petition is pending for final consideration.

Hence, writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. 7.
