This is an application for recording compromise and quashing of Manicktala Police Station Case No.70 of 2022 dated 28th March, 2022 under Sections 120B/506/448/451/453/455/462/114 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted on behalf of the de facto complainant that though the de facto complainant lodged the complaint alleging simplicitor an offence of house trespass against the accused persons, the police registered Manicktala Police Station Case No.70 of 2022 with graver penal provisions. However, the dispute has been amicably settled. The learned advocate for the petitioners also submits that the dispute is settled by and between the parties. Learned P.P.-in-charge has raised no objection if on the basis of settlement the above mentioned case is quashed. Therefore, investigation in respect of Manicktala Police Station Case No.70 of 2022 dated 28th March, 2022 under Sections 120B/506/448/451/453/455/462/114 of the Indian Penal Code be quashed on compromise between the parties.

The instant revision is, thus, disposed of.
