Petitioner intends to introduce B.Ed course in the said institution. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent nos.1 to 3 are not accepting its online application for the said purpose though it has built up extended infrastructure for the said course.

Mr. Nandi, learned advocate for the respondent nos.1 to 3 submits that the petitioner made an application through offline mode on 27th November 2021 for granting recognition of B.Ed. course. As per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)

Regulations, 2014, the applications can be accepted only through online mode. The NCTE never invited any application for granting recognition to B.Ed. course for the year 2020-2023 since the State Government did not intimate any requirement of B.Ed.

teachers.

It is the stand of the NCTE that as and when the online portal inviting application for granting recognition of B.Ed. course will be operational, the petitioner may apply for the said course.

I do not see any justifiable ground to entertain this writ petition at this stage in view of the stand disclosed by the respondent nos.1 to 3.

Needless to mention that as clarified by the respondent nos. 1 to 3, the petitioner's right to apply remains. He will be at liberty to apply for the introduction of B.Ed Degree Course as and when the respondent nos.1 to 3 decide to accept the same through online mood as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure Regulations, 2014.

Accordingly, W.P.A, No.6744 of 2022 is disposed of.

Let urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary requisite formalities.
