The main grievance arises in this writ petition relates to cancellation of petitioner's registration for non-filing of return within the time.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 7689 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent WBGST authority concerned to intimate the petitioner, revenue due, if any, which is required to be paid by the petitioner for restoration of its registration, within 7 working days and petitioner shall make payment of such revenue due to be intimated by

the authority, within 7 days from the date of receipt of such intimation and the respondent authorities concerned shall restore the petitioner's registration within 7 days from the date of receipt of such payment. The respondent authorities concerned shall open the portal for a period of 30 days from date to enable the petitioner to file the return and to make such payment. In case of failure on the part of the petitioner in complying the terms and conditions indicated herein, the respondent authorities concerned shall be free to close the portal again and this order will not have any force.

With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 7689 of 2024 is disposed of. ( Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
