In view of availability of an equally efficacious alternative remedy in the form of an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003 against the impugned order of final assessment, WPA 6772 of 2022 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appellate authority and, upon compliance of due formalities by the petitioner and subject to the law of limitation, the appellate authority, if so approached, shall decide the appeal in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
