...for the State D.Hira None appears on behalf of the petitioners. This matter is pending in the list since 04.05.2023 and has been called on each day of working of this Court since that date. In spite of that no one is appearing. The petitioners are found to be not interest in this case. Therefore, the same is taken up today for disposal on merit. In this case the petitioners have prayed for quashing of the proceedings of CS no. 0055292 of 2015 under Sections 139/141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 pending before the Court of Learned Magistrate, 18th Court at Calcutta including the order of cognizance (undated0 and order dated 17th February, 2016 passed in connection therewith.

Petitioners say that the case is based on frivolous allegations and malicious intentions of the complainant, thereby making out no cognizable case against them. They have prayed for quashing of the proceedings.

On perusal of the entire materials available on record and the grounds made up by the petitioner I am constrained to find that the grounds thereof are not sufficient and cogent enough to warrant this Court's interference into the impugned order. Hence, in my considered opinion the revision is liable to be dismissed. Criminal Revision being CRR 877 of 2016 is dismissed. All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
