Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the factum of pendency of the prayer relating to the return of the seized vehicle which was seized in the year 2023 and the same is unnecessarily devaluating without any purposeful use. Learned advocate submits that in view of the settled proposition of law the vehicle may be returned to the registered owner on such terms and conditions as the learned court deems fit and proper.

Records of the case reflect that the subject matter of the case is pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, F.T. Court No.4, Barasat, North 24 Parganas in Criminal Revision No.28 of 2024. Next date is fixed by the learned court on 3.04.2024.

In view of the prayer so advanced, I direct that the report be submitted by the Investigating Officer of the case before the learned Sessions Judge on 3rd April, 2024. Learned Sessions Judge would try to dispose of the case on 3rd April, 2024 if it is not

possible, preferably by 10th April, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1131 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
