It is submitted on behalf of both the parties that during pendency of the writ petition, the ferry ghats in question have been settled by the Zilla Parishad by way of an e-auction for a period of ten months.

In view of the above, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 6801 of 2022 is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
