Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondent submits that the gun licence in question along with the gun which belonged to the father of the private respondent have already been surrendered. The petitioner has obtained a fresh gun licence.

This contention is supported by the learned counsel for the State and the reference has been made to the report filed in this regard.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the State that as per local enquiry, it were the petitioners who had ousted the private respondent from his share of the property. It appears that the prime grievance of the petitioners have already been redressed.

If any of the parties wants to establish any further right in respect of the property in question, he shall be at liberty to do so, but before the learned civil Court.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
