They seek electricity connections for their respective flats.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) submits that, by a letter dated November 11, 2024, certain documents were asked to be submitted to the CESC authorities in order to facilitate the grant of electricity connections. Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 6, the promoter of the building, submits that a period of two weeks is required to produce the necessary documents before the CESC authorities.

In view of the above, there is no justification for keeping the writ petition pending. Respondent no. 6 is directed to produce the requisite documents before the

CESC authorities within a period of two weeks from the date of this order.

Upon receipt and consideration of the said documents, CESC shall take appropriate steps, in accordance with law, to provide electricity connections to the concerned premises.

Accordingly, WPA 7106 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
