Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It is pointed out by the learned counsel for the State that the public interest litigation pertains to land in Mouja - Maji whereas the writ petition is in respect of Mouja - Bhara under Mejia Police Station. The sole prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for consideration of his representations submitted before the authority on February 21, 2025 and March 12, 2025 respectively. This Court is informed that the representations are yet to be considered.

In view of the above, the concerned authority is directed to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner dated February 21, 2025 and March 12, 2025 respectively within two weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The

decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter.

It is made clear that this Court is not gone into the merits of the case and the concerned authority is at liberty to deal with the matter independently in accordance with law.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over the locality in order to avoid any untoward incident and to maintain peace and tranquility. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
