Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is married sister-in-law. Petitioner is in custody for 143 days. The police filed charge sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required. There is no eye-witness to the incident implicating the petitioner.
Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the victim was at her matrimonial house when the incident took place. The husband of the victim and the petitioner visited the paternal house of the victim on the fateful day. Nobody else was present at the material point of time. The victim died out of stab wound. He refers to the post mortem report. According to him the victim was last seen with the petitioner and her husband.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1012 of 2022 is dismissed.
