.... For the State The tribunal application was filed to set aside and quash the disciplinary proceedings solely on the ground that it was kept in suspended animation for an indefinite period.

The tribunal application was disposed of directing the authorities to complete the proceedings within a specified time. Challenging the said order, the present writ petition has been filed.

In the meantime, the disciplinary proceedings has reached to its logical end and the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that the cause of action does not survive.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

However, the dismissal of the writ petition shall not preclude the petitioner in taking appropriate steps against the final order passed in the disciplinary proceedings before the appropriate forum.

There will be no order as to costs.
