Reports have been filed by the Garfa Police Station, Patuli Police Station, Tiljala Police Station, Regent Park Police Station and Tollygunge Police Station.

It appears that Garfa Police has filed charge sheet No.329 dated 25th October, 2019. Likewise, Final Report No.17/2021 has been filed by Patuli Police Station. Tiljala Police is investigating into the FIR No.298 dated 1st August, 2019. Regent Park Police has also filed FRT No.47 dated 21st October, 2019. Tollygunge Police Station Case No.26/2022 is still pending.

It is ordered that the Tiljala Police and Tollygunge Police shall complete the investigation into the pending FIRs within a period of one month from date. Likewise Pragati Maidan Police shall also complete the investigation into FIR No.138/19 dated 1st August, 2019, if not already completed.

The office of the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, is directed to take note of the fact that several FIRs have been registered against the private respondents. Appropriate steps and/or measures may be taken by the office of the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata in this regard.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
