Mr. Phiroze Edulji, learned senior advocate appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Petitioner was aggrieved as the representation dated 22.03.2025 submitted with the Inspector-in-charge, Jorabagan Police Station was not acted upon.

Petitioner complains that a cognizable offence has been made out. In spite of that police authorities sat tight over the issue.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Jorabagan PS Case No. 66 dated

26.03.2025 has been registered for investigation against the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 and other unknown persons.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps in respect of the information furnished by the petitioner, I am of the view that the principal purpose for which the petitioner has approached this court has been subserved.

Police authorities are directed to investigate the case by putting in efforts and take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7115 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
