And In Re : Alok Srivastava ...... petitioner Mr. Apurba Kumar Dutta ....for the petitioner Md. Anwar Hossain Ms. Sreyashee Biswas ....for the State There are two criminal antecedents resulting in chargesheet as against the petitioner for offences of similar nature. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner in the offence of transferring funds from the bank account of a member of the public on the promise of such public being allowed loan facilities from a bank. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1254 of 2023 is dismissed.
