Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that as no steps were taken in spite of a case being registered being Chandannagar P.S. Case No. 143 of 2023 dated 14.09.2023. Petitioner now prays for further investigation.

State has submitted a report which reflects that already charge-sheet has been submitted under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code before the jurisdictional Magistrate. Presently the case has been transferred to the Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Chandannagar, Hooghly for trial.

Having considered the stage of the proceedings, I am of the opinion that petitioner would better be advised to approach the Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Chandannagar, Hooghly with an appropriate application. Learned Magistrate would consider the same in accordance with law

and dispose of the same within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 7194 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
