(DB) No. 1146 of 2023 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Bankura GRPS Case No. 09 of 2022 dated 02.08.2022 under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and charge-sheet submitted under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of the witnesses prima facie disclose there was an illicit relationship between the petitioner and the deceased. This gave him motive to commit the crime. CDRs also show continuous telephonic conversations between them. Ligature was also recovered from the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
