Mr. Saikat Mondal ....... For the petitioner This is an application seeking an expeditious disposal of a proceeding being A. C. Case No. 4481/2019 under Sections 406, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the complainant in this case. The petition of complaint was filed on 19.08.2019. But, till date the proceedings could not be concluded. On several occasions the accused prayed for adjournments. The matter has remained pending for no fault of the petitioner. I have heard the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner.

No prejudice would be caused to anyone if a prayer for expeditious disposal is decided in this revision. It does not appear that any inordinate delay has taken place in this case.

However, as the case is pending since 2019, it is expected that the learned trial court shall take appropriate steps to conclude the proceedings without granting any unnecessary

adjournment to either of the parties.

With these observations CRR 875 of 2021 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis after compliance with all necessary formalities.
