1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court is taken on record.
2. The petitioner prays for disposal of the appeal filed before the Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department on 18th November, 2022 in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 read with the corresponding Rules of 1996.
3. Without going into the merit and maintainability of the appeal, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department to consider and dispose of the appeal annexed at
pages 108 to 127 of the writ petition in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. Reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
4. If the aforesaid respondent is of the opinion that a personal hearing is required to be given to the petitioner or any other necessary parties, it will be open for the said respondent to give them an opportunity of hearing.
5. WPA 7802 of 2024 stands disposed of.
6. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
