The grievance of the petitioner is directed against a billing dispute raised by the respondent CESC Ltd. In view of the statutory alternative remedy available to the petitioner, WPA 8146 is disposed of by directing the Grievance Redressal Officer to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order and after giving a right of hearing to all the affected parties. Needless to mention that the concerned Officer shall not be influenced by any observation made in this order on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 8146 of 2021 stands disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
