Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

Counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Bagchi, submits on instructions that they have altered the date of holding demonstration to 3rd to 5th April, 2023. He further submits that the procession shall not move on the National Highways and no loudspeakers would be used and a maximum of about 1000 persons are due to participate in the said procession.

This Court is of the view that a detailed application shall be submitted to the respective Superintendents and Commissioners of Police of the concerned Districts through which the procession is to pass.

The police shall, as far as possible, facilitate such procession subject to any restrictions and conditions that may be imposed on the petitioner.

The petitioner shall also indicate where the participants shall be located for resting in the night. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
