Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the State submits report of Officer-in-Charge, Bagdah Police Station. Let the said report dated 27.06.2022 be kept on record. Report reflects that after receiving chemical examiner's report from the State Drug Control & Research Laboratory, supplementary charge-sheet has been filed before the jurisdictional court. It has also been pointed out that in the month of November 2022, date has been fixed for recording of evidence after the charge has already been framed. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since December 2021. Learned trial court would fix the schedule of the case after the availability of the witnesses is assured by the learned public prosecutor conducting the case.

No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties and all efforts must be taken by the learned trial court to complete the trial within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1278 of 2022 is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
