The writ petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of O.A. 199 of 2022.

Learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the writ petitioner is being denied the benefit of orders of the appellate authority under Section 19 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, due to the pendency of the original application.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent submits that only the writ petitioner filed the reply to the original application of the State is yet to file the reply.

Learned Junior Standing Counsel submits that time to file the reply in terms of the order dated

January 2, 2023 is yet to expire. He submits on instructions that the reply will be filed within the stipulated time.

In such circumstances, in our view the interest of justice will be subserved by requesting the learned Tribunal to hear and dispose of the O.A. 199 of 2022 on December 22, 2023 and if not possible within eight weeks therefrom. Learned Tribunal is requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

WPLRT 43 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.
