1. The contending parties are represented by their respective learned counsel.

2. A letter dated 13.6.2026 as filed by learned advocate for the writ petitioner and as written by the Executive Officer of the Petitioner-Municipality, is taken on record.

3. It is submitted that by the said letter dated 13.6.2026 request has been made by the PetitionerMunicipality for taking steps for disposal of the instant writ petition for non-prosecution since the writ petitioner is not willing to proceed with the instant writ petition.

4. Such being the position, WPA 7068 of 2025 is dismissed for non-prosecution.

5. Interim order, if there be any, stands vacated.

6. Liberty is given to the Petitioner-Municipality to file similar such petition on the selfsame cause of action, if so advised.
