Learned Senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since January 25, 2022. The petitioner initially claimed to be identified in the test identification parade. Thereafter, it was admitted that the petitioner was not present in the test identification parade. The petitioner was falsely implicated. Learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is involved in the offences charged against the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is the mastermind financier and organizer of the crime. He refers to the materials in the case diary.

There are materials in the case diary incriminating the petitioner in the offences that the petitioner is charged with.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1020 of 2022 is dismissed.
