The petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Purba Jagadanandapur Sahapara High School, on superannuation, he retired from his said service on October 31, 2014.

The petitioner is claiming that while switching over from CPF to GPF, an excess amount towards Government contribution was deposited. He is praying refund of the said amount.

Except the letter dated October 03, 2017 of the Teacher-in-Charge of the school addressed to the Assistant Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, there is nothing on record to substantiate the said claim of the petitioner.

W.P.A. 8177 of 2021 is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to lodge a formal claim before the District Inspector of

Schools (S.E.), District-Nadia, the respondent no.4 herein for refund of the said alleged excess amount and if such a claim is made, the said respondent shall dispose of it in accordance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
