The petitioner has assailed the order dated February 17, 2024 passed by the learned Chief Judge, City Sessions Court, Calcutta in Criminal Appeal No. 6 of 2024 directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the fine amount before the learned trial Court as security deposit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is agreeable to deposit 10% of the fine amount before the learned trial Court within next date fixed before the learned Appellate Court.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Party seeks necessary order to that effect.

In view of the above, the revisional application being CRR No. 1164 of 2024 is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to deposit 10% of the fine amount before the learned Appellate Court by the next date of hearing fixed before the learned trial Court. The order impugned dated February 17, 2024 be modified to that extent.
