Banerjee) Mr. Farhan Ghaffar ... for the petitioner Learned advocate for the petitioner/applicant submits that the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas, in connection with Maintenance Case No. 141 of 2022, has hardly progressed. Learned advocate for the petitioner has been awarded with interim maintenance but the evidence has still not commenced and many dates have been fixed by the learned Trial Court. Having regard to the apprehension of the present petitioner, I direct the learned Trial Court to fix at least one date in every sixty days to take the proceeding to a logical conclusion and conclude the proceeding within a reasonable period of time without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. All efforts be taken to conclude the trial at the earliest. With the aforesaid observation, CRR 1110 of 2023 is disposed of.
