Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 204 days. Police filed charge sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary including the statement of the eye-witness recorded under

Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He submits that two persons died and the other person suffered gunshot injury. Prayer for bail of one of the co-accuseds was turned down by this Hon'ble Court.

De facto complainant is represented.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary including the statement of the eye-witness recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 1029 of 2022 is dismissed.
