REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 999 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Domkal Police Station Case No. 427 of 2020 dated 09.08.2020 under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Abdul Rashid Sk @ Abdur Rasid Sekh ...... petitioner Mr. Rabiul Islam Mr. Raju Mondal Mr. Masooq Rahaman ...for the petitioner Mr. S. Bapuli Ms. Sima Biswas .... State Police case is dated August 9, 2020.

Apparently, the petitioner was aware of the present police case by the narration of the events as submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner.

Notwithstanding the fact that police filed charge sheet, since the police case is one of murder and in view of the long absconsion of the petitioner, which remains unexplained, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
