The State of West Bengal and others Mr. Billwadal Bhattacharyya, Mr. Arijit Majumder ...for the respondent nos. 3 to 5.

It is contended by learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 3 to 5 that the name of respondent nos. 3 and 4 be deleted / expunged since they have been unnecessarily impleaded in the present writ petition.

It is further contended that the writ petition is not maintainable in law and in its present form. Be that as it may, since the petitioner remains unrepresented, the merits of the matter ought not to be gone into at this stage.

As indicated above, it is reiterated that the merits of the contentions raised by the respondent nos. 3 to 5 have not been gone into at all.

Hence, WPA No. 6895 of 2022 is dismissed for default without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
