Sarwar Jahan Mr. Binay Shaw ....for the petitioner Mr. Amitesh Banerjee Mr. Akash Dutta ....for the State Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. ssi Ct 14 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is holding an Indian Passport and is seeking a Visa to visit the US. A police clearance certificate was sought by the Visa authorities. The Regional Passport Officers sent this to the local police station for necessary action, but the police authorities have not responded yet.

Learned senior counsel representing the State relies on the report and upon instructions, submits as follows. The instructions sought by the Passport Authorities have already been provided to them on 15.03.2023. It has been mentioned that an FIR being Beniapukur Police Station Case No. 36 of dated 19.01.2023 under Sections 323/324/506/509/114 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code was started against the petitioner. A charge sheet was also submitted in the said case, however, without the Section 379 of the Penal Code.

Since the information has already been provided to the concerned authorities, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
