From the representations made by the petitioner before Howrah Municipal Corporation, it appears that the petitioner is not sure as to whether the alleged unauthorized construction is without sanction. He only seeks necessary clarification from the Corporation. There is no need to keep the writ petition pending.

The Corporation shall intimate the petitioner whether there is any sanction plan in respect of the relevant construction within a period of two weeks from date. Upon receipt of such information, the petitioner will be at liberty to take steps in accordance with law.

With the above direction WPA no. 8063 of 2024 is disposed of.
