Mr. Debasis Kar, Mr. Arka Tilak Bhadra ...for the Petitioner Mr. Sandipan Banerjee, Mr. Ankit Surekha ...for HMC Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept with the records.

Respondent nos. 9 & 10 are not represented.

The petitioner alleges that at Holding no. 7/1, Dinu Lane, Kadamtala, Police Station - Bantra, Post Office - Kadamtala, Howrah, construction of a G+5 building is ongoing without any sanctioned plan from the Howrah Municipal Corporation.

Learned advocate appearing for the Howrah Municipal Corporation submits that the Corporation shall take necessary steps in terms of the complaint dated February 8, 2024, within a reasonable time frame.

In view of the aforesaid stance of the Corporation, I do not find any justification to keep this writ petition pending.
