Imtiaz Uddin ...for the petitioner Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay Mr. Suman Dey ...for the contemner Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemner furnishes an affidavit of compliance incorporating therein the corrigendum dated May 10, 2023 to memo No.444/SSM/Court Case/02/03 dated May 8, 2023. As it appears from the corrigendum to the aforesaid memo, the petitioner will be entitled to the notional benefit for her appointment as parateacher from the date of appointment of respondent no.6, namely Tanjila Begum Molla in WP No.1464(W) of 2012 (Ferdowsi Ara Begum v. The State of West Bengal & Ors.), without any arrear salary as directed by a learned single Judge.

In view of the above, I find that the alleged contemner has complied with the order. Hence I feel that no further purpose would be served in keeping the rule alive. Accordingly, WPCRC No.80 of 2023 stands disposed of. The rule is discharged and the contempt proceedings against the alleged contemner is dropped.

No order as to costs.
