Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and the materials in the case diary. He submits that the police case is of 2019. Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1796 of 2022 is dismissed.
