The petitioner and other land owners are at loggerhead and to that effect, information was furnished before Raiganj Police Station. However, the said police station did not respond to the information sent by the petitioner.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that already a civil case is pending between the parties in respect of the dispute and difference regarding co-sharing of the property.

Be that as it may, the right, title, interest, share, occupation and possession are the domain of the civil court. As such neither this Court nor the police authorities would interfere with the same. However, the police authorities would ensure that since the petitioner and the other co-owners are at loggerhead, no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward

incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 7241 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
