1. The Chairman, South 24 Parganas District Primary School Council vide communication dated 10th June, 2024 had requested the petitioner/applicant to submit name(s) of school of the choice of the petitioner/applicant within the jurisdiction of South 24 Parganas District Primary School Council in terms of our earlier order dated 24th May, 2024.

2. Mr.

Manna, learned counsel appearing for the applicant/petitioner has produced before us a letter purported to have been written by the applicant/petitioner in response to the said letter with overwriting furnishing the names of eight schools. The said letter is, however, claimed to have been issued on 27th June, 2024, but there is no acknowledgment on the part of the school authority.

3. The said letter dated 27th June, 2024 is taken on record.

4. However, we take it that the applicant/petitioner has suggested the following schools for consideration: (i) Amgachia Lal Bahadur G.S.F.P School;

(ii) Kolagachhia F.P. School;

(iii) Amgachia Aswathtala F.P. School;

(iv) Joka F.P. School;

(v) Bratachari Gram Junior Basic School;

(vi) Ganipur F.P. School;

(vii) Jote Shibrampur F.P. School;

(viii) Kalna Primary School.

5. The Chairman, South 24 Parganas District Primary School Council is requested to take a decision in this regard within two weeks from date.

6. The contempt application being CPAN 510 of 2024 stands disposed of.

7. In the previous order dated 24th May, 2024, after recording names of the learned counsel representing the alleged contemnor, the words "for the State" should be deleted and be replaced with "for the alleged contemnor".

8. Let the correction mentioned in paragraph no.7 of this order be incorporated in the order dated 24th May, 2024. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.)
