The grievance of the petitioner is that the police authorities are not complying with the directions passed by Sub-Divisional Officer, Bardhaman Sadar (North), Purba Bardhaman.

Subsequently again information was sent by the SDO to the Inspector-in-Charge, Burdwan Police Station, Purba Bardhaman.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Burdwan P.S. Case No. 410/2025 dated 15.04.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023 and the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.5 submits that the next date is fixed on 30.04.2025 when the respondent no.5 would be physically present before the SDO as he has filed an application before the SDO.

The Inspector-in-Charge, Burdwan Police Station, Purba Bardhaman would ensure that the respondent no.5 is physically present before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bardhaman Sadar (North), Purba Bardhaman on the next date so fixed.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 7787 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
