It is submitted that the victim housewife left her paternal house on 11th August 2022. Her dead body was recovered on 13th August 2022. There is no direct evidence connecting him with the crime. He prays for bail. Leavened lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Statement of witness shows petitioner had accompanied his wife on 11th August 2022. Two days later her decomposed body was recovered. Post mortem doctor opines she suffered homicidal death. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Hence, application for bail is rejected.
