The allegation is that commercial quantity of contraband items was recovered from the petitioner's possession. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail. The prayer for bail stands rejected.

We are told that charge sheet was filed sometime in December, 2020. Learned Advocate for the State does not have instructions as to whether supplementary charge sheet has been filed upon obtaining the chemical analysis report.

The State shall ensure that the chemical analysis report is obtained at the earliest and definitely within a period of four weeks from date and placed before the learned Court below. C.R.M.
