1. Petitioner is in custody for 11 months. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits bail prayer of co-accused was rejected in December 2023.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose petitioner and others being armed chased the victim. Victim suffered gunshot injury and died. Bail prayer of co-accused was turned down in December 2023.

4. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
